Respawn’s Apex Legends has been out for two weeks and the Battle Royale game has attracted millions of players, crossing 2 million concurrent players within days of launch. However with this success comes cheaters and according to a statement by Respawn on Reddit, more than 16,000 Apex Legends Cheaters have been banned from the game.
Apex Legends currently does not offer an in-game feature that allows other players to report a player they think is cheating but Respawn will be adding the feature in the future. In the meantime to help Respawn find those that need to be banned for cheating, players are asked to try and capture evidence of cheating and if they run into someone they should use this link or click on the button below to report them.
Even if you don’t get proof, get their ID and flag it, Respawn will begin investigating the account for anything irregular. In addition, the Apex Legends community manager at Respawn announced that the performance and stability of the game will be improved with the next update scheduled to be released next week.
