Latest Chapter in The Darksiders series arrives 27 November
THQ Nordic released a new Darksiders III trailer at Gamescom offering an action-packed glimpse at protagonist Fury showcasing her battling it out with even more monsters. Darksiders III is the long-anticipated, third chapter in the critically-acclaimed Darksiders franchise.
Darksiders III was first announced back in early May, injecting new life into a series that many had given up for dead when THQ went under. But THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games are now working hard to make sure that the series lives up to its reputation, and hopefully when November and the Darksiders 3 release date rolls around Darksiders 3 gets just as good of a reception as the other two games have. Darksiders III will see you return to an apocalyptic Earth and assume the role of Fury and help her in the quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen, Fury must succeed where many have failed to bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth.
Mini-Map has been vanquished
Gunfire Games has decided to remove the mini-map, stating that they want players to focus more on exploration rather than objectives. Senior Designer Richard Vorodi spoke at a presentation during Gamescom about this, “We want players to get lost.” The world of Darksiders III is meant to be explored, and that is part of what fueled this decision. Darksiders III is full of secrets, and the studio wants players to discover them naturally.
Darksiders 3 launches for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on 27 November 2018
