The new visionary game from Hideo Kojima was recently removed from the official list of PS4 exclusives across the various PlayStation sites which has started the PC rumors, however, it’s likely that Death Stranding will release on Google Stadia.
The speculation began with a tweet by Game Director Kojima himself, which included a picture with Jade Raymond. Raymond has worked as a producer for Ubisoft and Electronic Arts for many years and since March 2019 has been the Vice President of Google, which is currently responsible for the development of Stadia.
The tweet below indicated that Raymond visited his studio in Tokyo.
Thanks Jade Raymond for visiting our studio. 👍🌈😍 pic.twitter.com/E0dKuf6szE

Originally spotted by a ResetEra user, an update to some official PlayStation Store pages (including Australia, France, and Portugal) sees the removal of Death Stranding under the “Only on PlayStation” tab. Furthermore, when the special and collector’s editions for the game was announced, the “Only on PlayStation” branding was also absent from the cover art.
Kojima has his next public appearance at Gamescom in Cologne, the Game Designer will be at the Opening Night Panel on August 19th, hosted by Geoff Keighley. There will be a new exclusive look at Death Stranding. If the rumors are true, then a possible release on Google Stadia could be made public.
Death Stranding launches on 8 November 2019 with Google Stadia also launching in November, so a coincidence I think not!
However, nothing has been confirmed, so we shall see more at Gamescom.
