Bethesda Game Studios announced the postponement for the Wastelanders update, now scheduled for early 2020. Apparently, the Fallout 76 update needs a little more time as they want to make sure the update is of the quality fans deserve.
We’re excited about how Wastelanders is coming together but it’s going to need more time to be the best, most polished update it can be, so we are delaying its release to Q1 next year. We’ve continued to re-evaluate and change our processes to make sure the work we’re doing hits our quality bar, and yours. We apologize for this delay but know it will be worth the extra time,” Bethesda said.
Wastelanders was announced earlier this year at E3 2019 and represents an important evolution of Fallout 76, only because it is intended to include NPCs in the game world with new types of interaction, thus going to deepen and significantly expand the possibilities and situations of play.
Some good news however as next week, private servers will come to Fallout 76 as well as a Halloween event arriving starting October 29, 2019.
