Respawn Entertainment is hosting a live stream today at 8 am PT, 11 am ET, 4 pm UK, 6 pm SAST to tell us about Apex Legends their new free-to-play battle royale. The stream can be viewed above & presented by Vince Zampella.
The game was a complete mystery until a few big name streamers Shroud, Dr Disrespect and CourageJD headed out to Los Angeles to play a secret battle royale game which was later rumored to be called Apex Legends. Respawn is set to release Apex Legends right after it’s announced on the stream.
According to a Kotaku report published on 2 February, the game is based on the Titanfall IP and will launch alongside its reveal on February 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The mechs from the Titanfall series are reportedly not playable, but players will be able to use “supernatural MOBA-like hero abilities” and play either solo or in a team of three.
I want to clarify, 8am pst starts the @PlayApex teaser stream. It’s super cool, but it leads up to the full reveal of everything at noon. So you probably don’t have to call in sick, just fake food poisoning at lunch and go home early.https://t.co/LsOnVwY35B
